Casio’s G-SHOCK Series GM-2100 is one of the most stunning watch collections I have ever seen. Its beauty inspired me to create this personal project focused on it, specifically on model 1A.
I started modelling the watch before deciding on the animations, so I tried to keep everything as procedurally as I could get away with it – special mention to the straps.
I used X-Particles for the sparks and the strap generation effect, and everything was rendered with Octane.
I created and edited everything, except for some 3D assets in the background.
